Overview

The steel ruler water level gauge provides the most accurate way to measure water levels, used to measure the water level in wells, boreholes and water pipes, particularly suitable for the observation of groundwater level in hydropower projects and artificial inspection of dam body infiltration line. The instrument can be used during construction, but also as a long-term safety monitoring with the project, complies with earth dam safety monitoring technical specifications.

 

Principle structure

There are two major components about the measurement of water level variation :
1.Buried underground material is composed of water pipe and the bottom cover (additional purchase)
2.Ground receiving equipment-steel ruler water level gauge, including the probe, steel ruler cable, receiving system and winding plate and other components.
Probe part:Made of stainless steel. Install the water resistance contact point in the internal, when the contact point comes into the water, it will turn on the receiving system, once left the water, it will stop.
Steel ruler part of the cable: Made ofsteel ruler and wire by plastic technology, which prevents the steel ruler corrosion, but
also simplifies the operation process, to make reading more convenient and accurate.
Receiving system part: Consist of the sounder, indicator and peak indicator . The sounder gives a continuous beep,then the indicator light is on, and the peak indicates the voltmeter.
