A050 Electric Emulsified Asphalt Wet Wheel Abrasion Tester YT-1
The amount of asphalt in emulsified asphalt slurry mixture is in the ratio design. Important parameter, too little asphalt, thin slurry sealing layer will loose, too much asphalt, the road will embrace, and also waste asphalt material. Wet-wheel abrasion tester can be used in conjunction with load wheel test to determine the emulsion asphalt slurry sealing mix. The best amount of asphalt, this test is used to determine the slurry mix. Small amount of asphalt, but also used to test the slurry mixture after forming wear performance.
The wet-wheel wear test is to place the molded slurry mixture specimen in water according to the prescribed forming method, and grind the head with the wet-wheel wear instrument for 5min to measure the wear loss. The wet-wheel wear loss is expressed as g/m2.
