Variable Soil Falling Head Permeameter
This instrument is used to measure the permeability coefficient of clay soil under variable water head. The instrument consists of an upper cover, a base, a sleeve, a ring knife, a permeable stone and a screw.
When testing the original soil sample, it can be cut vertically or parallel with the ring knife according to the need. When the disturbed soil test is used, the specimen can be compacted to prepare, both of which must be saturated with water. The permeability coefficient obtained is the permeability coefficient at a certain temperature, which needs to be converted to the permeability coefficient at the standard temperature.
