Direct shear test is a common method to determine the shear strength of soil. Under vertical pressure, horizontal shear force is applied to shear to obtain the shear stress at failure. Then the shear strength parameters, internal friction angle and cohesion of soil are determined according to Coulomb's law. It has manual and electric functions, and the limit switch is used to protect the instrument.
