This instrument. The theoretical relative density of asphalt mixture at 25°C was determined by vacuum method.
The determination of theoretical relative density of asphalt mixture can provide basic data for calculation of void ratio and compaction degree in asphalt mixture design, road condition investigation or road surface construction quality management. Therefore, the detection value of theoretical relative density of asphalt mixture directly affects the quality management and control of pavement construction.

The relative density of asphalt mixture refers to the ratio of the mass of the specimen per unit volume to the mass of water at the same temperature when the asphalt mixture is compacted to an ideal state without voids.

The instrument is composed of frame, vacuum pump, vibrator, vacuum regulating valve, vacuum gauge, pressure gauge, water storage device, vacuum container and control electrical appliances, etc. It has a reasonable structure and is easy to use. .
